FC Dallas continues its unbeaten streak to 6 games with a win over visiting Real Salt Lake.  Midfielder Brek Shea scored the first goal in the 69', and Atiba Harris capped the night with a second volley in the 77'.  The posts were friends to the goalkeepers for much of the match. Colombian Milton Rodriguez, making his FC Dallas debut, headed into the crossbar 10 minutes into the match on a David Ferreira corner.  Soon after, RSL's Javier Morales swung a shot from distance which FCD's Kevin Hartman steered into the woodwork.

Shea's goal came off of a rebound off the keeper Rimando which he surely put in.  Atiba's goal was the first he's made in 10 games.

With the loss, Real Salt Lake ends a 10 game unbeaten streak.  FC Dallas plays at Toronto FC next week.

FC Dallas played a tough away game at Seattle Sunday night, ending with a 1-1 draw. Dallas got off the pitch slowly, yielding a quick goal by the Sounders' striker Freddy Montero.

FC Dallas was helped shortly after the intermission when 19 year old Miguel Montano, who was starting his first game in league play, received a straight red card for an apparent retaliatory punch against Dallas' Brek Shea.  This gave Dallas a man advantage for the remaining half hour, one that they would eventually take advantage of.

Kasey Keller, the Sounders' star keeper, played a magnificent game after several lackluster performances.  He made what was perhaps the save of the week against a diving header by David Ferreira in the 70th minute, clawing the ball out right at the goal line.  However, Ferreira would have the last laugh.  In the waning moments of the match, the Dallas star worked the give and go with Heath Pearce and shot a laser to the far post.  There was nothing Keller could do to prevent the equalizer.  It was a thing of beauty and further cemented David Ferreira's standing in many minds as one of the premier midfielders in the game.  He has now scored or assisted on every goal in the last five matches for FC Dallas.

Dallas (5-2-7) now has been unbeaten for five straight games.  They take on the defending MLS champions Real Salt Lake at home this Saturday.

FC Dallas won its third straight game in league play by handing the Kansas City Wizards a 1-0 defeat on the heels of David Ferreira's penalty kick in the 58th minute.  After dominating the play for most of the first half and the start of the second period, it was unclear if the home side would be able to get one past Wizards' keeper Jimmy Nielsen. The chance finally came when the Wizards' Roger Espinoza tackled Ferreira in the penalty area.

After the lone goal, Kansas City mounted a barrage of attacks in the Dallas end and would up with several quality chances.  However, they were turned away with an outstanding performance from former Wizards keeper Kevin Hartman.

FC Dallas visits Seattle next Sunday as they try to get their fourth straight win.

Fans were treated to a fireworks display after the game.
